Do you ever get those ideas that just won’t leave you alone???

I have.

✨Surprise, it’s an art class! ✨

Recently it’s been to host a monthly retreat with friends in person over the space of 12 months or so… It will be sacred time to just BE with each other, make new friends and create some art while we just share our lives and find our way into friendships in this constantly unprecedented world.

Last Spring I hosted a sweet retreat for friends where we got to meet new people, we painted, and meditated. We chatted it UP! I just really appreciated the time with other women.

That same week I had finished making my own oracle deck out of works of art that I have created over the years and I LOVED the process of bringing my art work to life in a whole new way.

I thought, what if we brought those two ideas together… what if we committed to meeting once a month and shared life’s experiences over some art time together. Having time to just play, laugh and connect.

While I was working on the oracle deck, the thing that I loved was how many different styles I moved through, the various supplies I experimented with and TONS of different techniques I learned along the way.

I thought it would be cool to share some of the little ways that I went from someone who used art for healing to being an artist in every aspect of my life.

I KNOW how much we are all craving connection. One thing that I have learned over time is the deeper the connection with ourselves the deeper our connection with the people around us.

It dawned on me, what better way to learn to connect with ourselves than to explore art supplies and techniques together with other people. I figured, it is TIME to start inviting people to gather so I thought it would be absolutely transformational to make an oracle deck surrounded with like minded people.

The format would be to meet up at a cute studio in the local area where we can play and relax and enjoy community. The dates are roughly around the Full Moon or New Moon each month which is the perfect time to “begin again” or start something new. We’ll gather for about 2 1/2 - 3 hours mid day. Holding the time from from 1pm-4pm generally speaking.

Once you sign up I will send you all of the official dates and a supplies list for things you can put into a portable art kit for yourself and of course I always have tons of various things for your to explore.

Things that we will explore are: theme, personal words and symbology, affirmations, images, shapes, colors, design concepts. I will be teaching different techniques and how to use various supplies and tools. Together we’ll create a personal library of symbols, move through a frame work of self discovery, laugh, paint and PLAY!

The idea is to create small works of art that you may decide to turn into an oracle deck or to use any way that seems fitting to you!
