The idea behind my Canvas and Cabernet concept was always to bring an art experience to people through entertaining 3-hour workshops. Keeping it light helps painters feel at ease, relax into the process, and unleash their creativity.

If you’ve never painted before or haven’t painted since we closed during the pandemic, now is a great time to dip your brush back into the acrylics.

Also, if your 3rd grade teacher told you that you should stick to the math/science track, but you have always wanted to try painting, this place is for you.

I can bring the magic to you where ever you happen to be — we’ve painted on cruise ships, in ancient castles and in vineyards in Napa, Brentwood and Livermore — we’ve even painted in dining rooms, backyard barbecues and in sales meetings. I like to say ‘YES!’ as often as possible…

The Magic

Sessions are typically 2-3 hours long with a break to let layers dry.
Some paintings are a little more challenging so we just try to take our time and give clear instructions to help beginners achieve a nice painting and enjoy the process.
We try not to rush people through, but we also want to let things be loose, light-hearted, and social. It’s all about having a great time.

The How

Attendees are led through the featured painting with step-by-step instructions and continuous motivation. This means if you have never picked up a paintbrush, you’re perfect for the experience.
Painters are encouraged to laugh, sing along with the music, embrace the fun of new experiences, and go home with a personalized masterpiece.
Dance parties have been known to break out spontaneously!
